Develop a greater sense of self & expand your understanding of workable communication strategies. Some people, when confronted by conflict or an angry person, seem to “sail through” the problem by managing their feelings, thoughts and circumstances. Other people may stammer, become indecisive and end up feeling walked over or walked on! Is the difference between the two people because of past family influences? Or is the difference because one person has the ability to use assertive language and the other doesn’t, or is it that one has a strong support system and the other doesn’t?
Maybe all of these factors play an important part in helping us to determine and set personal boundaries; but there are more indicators to effective boundary setting. In this workshop participants develop a greater sense of self and an expanded understanding of workable communication strategies. Group members will:
