How to Become A Member

All of our services are free to single parents and becoming a member has never been easier. We have an intake process that takes only about 15 minutes. We'll even take a photo of you which will be used on your 1Up member card. You do not need an appointment.

Please bring the most recent copy of only one (1) of these forms that shows your Marital Status:

• Canada Child Tax Benefit Notice
• Universal Child Care Benefit Notice

*These forms can be printed from your account if you've registered online at the Canada Revenue Agency website. You will need your S.I.N. number, D.O.B. and Line #101 of your 2011 Tax Return. 

If you are not able to get a copy of either of these forms, you can print a single parent confirmation form or pick one up from the Centre and have it signed by a community professional (eg: case worker, doctor, lawyer, teacher, social service agency, religious leader)
