SPECIAL THANKS
A very special Thank You to Dilemma Fashions who donated 656 clothing items in July 2009. These brand new items are being used to stock our clothing room which is free to single parents who are members at our Centre. Your gift will go a long way toward making our members feel supported and well looked after.
Thank you very much to the Pettersen family, owners of the downtown
Levi's Store for their generous donation of 278 pairs of jeans. And a big thank
you also from the moms, dads and kids who got to take home a great pair of
jeans.
Thank you to the Victoria Chinatown Lioness Club for putting together
over 100 "take-out" boxes filled full with gifts for single moms at Mother's Day.
The moms who received them were very touched and loved the gifts. And the
kids loved presenting them.
